Sending domains
Email sits under Settings. On Domains, Add domain takes the domain your mail leaves from, best a subdomain such as mail.example.com, and answers the DNS records to add: DKIM, SPF on the return path, the tracking subdomain (links unless changed) and a DMARC policy. A domain belongs to the company, so every project sends from it, and one company holds a name. Records are checked every ten minutes, or at once with Check now; a domain not verified in 72 hours is released, and a verified one whose records disappear stops sending. Open and click tracking can be switched off per domain. Sender details keeps the postal address every marketing email shows and where DMARC reports go. Adding a domain comes with Growth and up; a dedicated IP pool is an Enterprise line that staff provision.
Subscriptions and marketing contacts
A project starts with two subscription types, Marketing information and Service messages, and can add its own, each named in any of the eighteen languages. A marketing type reaches only marketing contacts who subscribed; a service type reaches everyone who has not unsubscribed. With double opt-in a new subscriber gets a confirmation email and receives nothing until they press its button. A form’s communication purposes name types, so ticking one subscribes the person and makes them a marketing contact. Every change is kept as a consent record, and a person’s Subscriptions tab shows each type with its state and history and whether they are a marketing contact.
Unsubscribing and suppression
Every marketing message carries a one-click unsubscribe the mail client can press and a link to a preferences page in the reader’s language, both signed so nobody can change another person’s answers. A hard bounce, a spam complaint, three soft bounces in 30 days or the provider’s own suppression put the address on Suppressions, and nothing is sent to it again; a member may suppress an address by hand, and only a member who manages email lifts a bounce or complaint. Messages composed under Messages and a form’s follow-up keep to the same suppressions and service unsubscribes.
Health
Health shows the last 30 days: sent, delivered, bounce, complaint, open, click and unsubscribe rates, and each day on its own row. Keep complaints under 0.1%. Past 0.3% complaints or 5% hard bounces over the last 1,000 marketing sends, marketing sending pauses for the project and its owners are told; a member who reviewed the list resumes it. Deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces, complaints and unsubscribes are written on the person’s timeline as $email_delivered, $email_opened, $email_clicked, $email_bounced, $email_complained and $email_unsubscribed.
Where this meets the API
On GraphQL emailDomains, emailCompanySettings, emailSubscriptionTypes, emailSuppressions, emailHealth, personEmailSubscriptions read; addEmailDomain, checkEmailDomain, setEmailDomainTracking, removeEmailDomain, requestEmailDedicatedIp, saveEmailCompanySettings, createEmailSubscriptionType, updateEmailSubscriptionType, setEmailSubscriptionTypeArchived, setPersonEmailSubscription, setPersonMarketingContact, addEmailSuppression, removeEmailSuppression, resumeEmailSending change, and every change arrives on the emailChanges subscription (GraphQL reference). REST serves the same under /v1/company/email, /v1/projects/{projectId}/email and /v1/projects/{projectId}/people/{distinctId}/email-subscriptions, and the MCP tools are prodantix.email.domains, prodantix.email.add_domain, prodantix.email.check_domain, prodantix.email.set_domain_tracking, prodantix.email.remove_domain, prodantix.email.request_dedicated_ip, prodantix.email.settings, prodantix.email.save_settings, prodantix.email.subscription_types, prodantix.email.create_subscription_type, prodantix.email.update_subscription_type, prodantix.email.archive_subscription_type, prodantix.email.suppressions, prodantix.email.suppress, prodantix.email.unsuppress, prodantix.email.health, prodantix.email.resume, prodantix.email.person_subscriptions, prodantix.email.set_person_subscription and prodantix.email.set_marketing_contact.
